What’s New
CAIRIBU Connect has moved to Theme 2.0, here’s whats new!
– User Experience
– Connect and Portal Combined
– New Passwords
A better use experience
Connect 2.0 has been completely redesigned with user experience in mind. Resources for the Research Interest Groups (RIGs) are now better organized, with a table of contents at the top of each page to make it easy to jump directly to the information you need.
In addition, all applications previously spread across Connect and the Portal are now housed in one place, and each includes clear, direct instructions on how to access and use them.
Additionally, to further support collaboration, CAIRIBU now has its own mobile app. The app enables discussion and communication among CAIRIBU investigators, provides easy access to virtual events, and offers quick, convenient access to CAIRIBU resources. The app is currently only available for IPhone users, but an Android version is in development. See more information here.
Connect and Portal are now combined
Previously, CAIRIBU Connect and the CAIRIBU Portal existed as two separate sites. These platforms have now been merged into a single, streamlined experience. At the top of the Connect 2.0 homepage, you’ll find buttons that allow you to easily access either Connect or the Portal.
In the Connect, you’ll now find:
– Exclusive resources related to the RIGs
In the Portal, you’ll now find:
– The grant portal to the Research Training & Development Grant Application and CAIRIBU Conference & Data Dissemination Grant.
– The Collaboration Award Application and Collaboration Award Progress Report
New passwords
Previously, CAIRIBU Connect required users to either create a profile or use a shared username and password to access the site. With Connect 2.0, only select pages and features are now password-protected.
The password protected portions of the sites are as following:
– the Connect page
– the Portal page
Each of these pages has its own unique password. If you forget a password or need access, please email CAIRIBU at cairibu@urology.wisc.edu.
