Our Website

CAIRIBU began as a network of NIDDK-funded benign urology research centers and has grown to include the wider genitourinary research community. Our Mission is to support and train the next generation of urologic researchers, strengthen collaboration within and beyond the field, and translate research into meaningful clinical advances for benign urologic conditions.

Events

Discover a series of recurring events hosted by CAIRIBU that serve as a dynamic platform for students, researchers, clinicians, and experts to gather and exchange their latest findings and innovations in the field of benign urology diseases. These events are designed to foster collaboration, disseminate cutting-edge research, and promote the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical practice.

Funding

The CAIRIBU U24 Interactions Core curates and maintains a collection of funding opportunities for CAIRIBU-affiliated investigators. This includes grants from the National Institutes of Health, institution-specific funding aimed at enhancing stakeholder engagement in research, and various funding sources that support non-malignant urologic research.

Research Interest Groups

CAIRIBU has various groups dedicated to different urological specialties. These groups offer a wealth of resources, expert knowledge, and collaborative opportunities for professionals and researchers. See below for the currently existing CAIRIBU Research Interest Groups, or RIGs, which are specialized teams focused on advancing research and collaboration in various aspects of urological health.
